Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the WYWK ("Who You Wanna Know") application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use WYWK.
• You must be a current student enrolled at a supported high school.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in a ban.

3. How WYWK Works

WYWK is a social discovery platform where users:

• Answer profile questions about themselves and classmates
• Play "This or That" to earn coins and discover compatibilities
• Use coins to unlock answers, hints, and other premium features
• Share their locked profile cards on social media

All answer content is locked by default and only revealed when another user spends coins to unlock it. Users understand and accept that their answers may be viewed by others who unlock them.

4. User Conduct

When using WYWK, you agree NOT to:

• Bully, harass, or intimidate other users
• Post hateful, discriminatory, or threatening content
• Share sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Impersonate another person or create fake accounts
• Use the app to stalk, doxx, or harm anyone
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data

⚠️ Zero Tolerance: WYWK has zero tolerance for bullying and harassment. Violations will result in immediate account suspension and potential permanent ban. Reported content is reviewed and accounts with high report ratios are automatically flagged.

5. Virtual Currency (Coins)

• Coins are a virtual currency earned through in-app activities (playing games, daily login, inviting friends).
• Coins can be spent to unlock answers, buy hints, re-roll questions, and access premium features.
• Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We reserve the right to modify coin earning rates and costs at any time.
• Coin balances are non-transferable and will be forfeited upon account deletion.

6. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of the content you create on WYWK.
• By using the Service, you grant WYWK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content within the app and for promotional purposes.
• We may remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.

7. Reporting & Moderation

Users can report inappropriate content or behavior through the app. Our moderation system includes:

• Manual review of reported content
• Automated flagging based on report frequency
• Progressive disciplinary actions (warning → temporary suspension → permanent ban)

False or abusive reporting may also result in account suspension.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in behavior that harms other users or the community
• Are found to be under 13 years of age
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and all associated data will be removed within 30 days.

9. Disclaimers

• WYWK is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content posted by users.
• We are not responsible for interactions between users that occur outside the app.
• Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WYWK Social shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of WYWK after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
